When my ex wife left me she said it was because I was no good in bed. I asked her how she was able to form that opinion in only 2 minutes.

Why on earth would I need that? [-(

Mind you, it's not the plumbing that's the problem, it's getting the opportunity to use it

Oh boy trial run today !!! currently one car trapped at the rank because the police closed half the roads two hours beforehand and the rest 40 minutes beforehand when it was only supposed to be 20 minutes    cost us quite a bit in lost trade methinks mind you the market traders were all forced to pack up at 2 o'clock so they must have lost even more

And the Olympics were supposed to boost the economy !!!!!!

Just wonderful they've just released the details of when the olympic torch relay comes through town IN RUSH HOUR !

It arrives in the town at quarter to 5 and is going to take a very circuitous route along most of the roads that get gridlocked at that time of day !!!! If you hear of cabbies throwing themselves off high buildings on July the 3rd you'll know why !

Seriously though i can see that the only way to deal with it is to offer either a restricted service or no service at all for 3 hours because you can bet your life on the police shutting the entire the entire town centre for 3 hours

Be thankful that's it, the Olympics are going to bugger up London for weeks!

Weeks of chaos and restricted access.

It's the ones that the doctor gives you a prescription for and the prescription lasts for seven seperate packs of medication before the pharmacist takes it off you and destroys it!!

Or so I've been told.

If you huff and you puff like this, you'll blow the torch out.

I'm very much looking forward to the Olympics, and anyone who criticises it is a miserable old git.

Especially as Mrs Sussex is in the opening ceremony.

You can put me down as a "miserable old git" then - I think it's all Pony and Trap.

The "authorities" were knocking on peoples doors before 8.00 am yesterday morning on the route through our town telling people to move their cars or they would be towed away. The torch was in the town from noon until 2.30 pm. I took one look at all the cones and decided that I would stay at home until it was all over. No point in adding to a problem.
