An natural end to a contract is not a termination.

Yes but it sounds as if Mr Griffin has made himself too hot to handle and that might be a big negative for his business

If I were him I would back down now and go back to mending fences instead of burning bridges at the rate he's going he will have no friends in high or low places

shame really 8)

No penalty points can be given for those offences, but if AL win the case then TfL have been told to reimburse any loses.

The minicab company Addison Lee is losing its contract with the Government for private car hire, according to information received today from the Cabinet Office.

It surprises me, because tbh the guy has to have a lot of common sense when it comes to business, whether people like that or not its a hard fact......he appears to have forgotton a cardinal rule.......never, never, never, ever trust politicians.

That's a moot point, and drivers could get charged with that whether they are in the bus lane or in the normal lane.

And it's comply, we don't obey anymore.

moot point surely.....sorry to point this oute but I really dont like mute points...because I cant hear them....besides, in these here parts we have moot halls....not mute halls....because they'd be too quiet....or libraries.

Meaningless technicalities, as Joshua Rosenburg (The Guardian)states:

Quote:
In the meantime, though, the law is clear. It is a criminal offence for the driver of a private hire vehicle to drive in a bus lane reserved for taxis. It doesn't matter that you can't go to prison for it; it doesn't matter that you don't risk an endorsement; it doesn't matter that you can avoid conviction by paying a fixed penalty. Drive in a bus lane when you shouldn't and you, the driver, are committing a crime.http://www.guardian.co.uk/law/2012/apr/ ... sfeed=true

Fixed Penalty Notice from the Police is NOT a conviction.

TfL on priority roads (Red Routes)

32 London Boroughs on the other roads

The City of London does not allow Taxis in their bus lanes

TfL and each Borough issue their own PCN the Metropolitan Police can issue FPN's for Bus Lane infringements
