Disabled barbecue.... take one disabled person in a wheelchair and load them into the rear of a rear loading disabled vehicle... now make sure that in front of them you have a row of seats that will make it impossible for them to evacuate the vehicle from the front.. close the rear doors behind them... become involved in an accident with the car behind, Rear doors are now jammed... disabled person in the rear has a heart attack... but you can't get them out... and then you smell petrol... leaking fuel tank.... and then boom......

not a vehicle a professional taxi-driver would choose......

Short memories some people

No if's, buts or maybes. These things did catch fire.
And there wouldn't have been time to rescue the W/C punter if there had been one.

I'd like to know what they've seen, read or heard that would suggest this :?

The viewpoint that rear-entry WAVs are unsafe is based on no evidence other than what some people think.

I have spent the last three years trying to get those that oppose these motors to produce proper evidence, and none has been forthcoming.

In other words it's all bollocks.
