Taxi Driver Online

I recall one of the biggest people now wanting change...suggesting many moons ago the 1976 act was a brilliant piece of legislation.

The problem with taxis and indeed private hire is that it differs in many areas......one size doesnt fit all, this is why the 1976 act, for all its faults, has benefits.

I sincerely hope the law commission have taken note.

In my view, and I am a dinasaur....a Caseysaurous.....I cannot for the life of me see the difference in allowing a local authority to change the colour of their cabs and then no longer give them the right to determine numbers.

Interesting times.....still, they surely cant double deregulate my area?

Unless there is a caseysaurous clause......which given the stick I've dished out...is a possibility!

In the Navy the command, when incoming missiles were detected, from the Warfare Officer was "Brace, Brace, Brace".

As the incoming missile - constructed of effluent - is now inbound, can I suggest now is a good time to "Brace".
