Cardiff taxi driver bailed after denying multiple crash charges

12 June 2012

A taxi driver has been released on bail after denying deliberately hitting eight pedestrians with his black cab.

The eight people were injured in a collision near Cardiff's Millennium Stadium in March.

Majid Rehman, 28, of Grangetown, Cardiff, denies charges including wounding with intent, grievous bodily harm with intent, attempted GBH and causing actual bodily harm.

At Cardiff Crown Court his trial date was set for 5 November.
