How much did the Bookies pay him to do that?

I think this is the relevent point.
Racist chants are not usually done for personal gain.
The blatent abuse of the advertising ban, lets face it we all have a pair of Paddy Power undies don't we. was done for pure monetary gain. In my opinion he knew exactly what he was doing and UEFA put such a huge fine on it to make sure that he didn't make a profit from it and to deter any other player from doing it again. Also he probably forgot to "bung" the right people beforehand.

somebody change the record !!!!

I know why don't we actually discuss the euro 2012 tournament well i think last nights results were the first predictable outcomes in any of the groups

tonights may be less so I think if England don't go all out for a good win against Ukraine they leave themselves open to an early plane home playing for a draw could be very dangerous

well they certainly needed a very large slice of luck tonight the Ukraine team will feel a little hard done by and all though the ball might have just crossed the line I think it was definitely offside so they didn't deserve that one but they could have got a 3 or 4 of the other chances

And as france contrived to lose to Sweden we get Italy and not Spain :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D

Looking at Rooney tonight - you could be forgiven for thinking that he must have been out of the game for two years or more - he was positively the worst player on the pitch - his goal could have been scored by a three year old (ok, a tall three year old).

A very dull uninspiring performance (apart from the defence) against a team that all the pundits were saying had Noooooooooooo chance. If they play like they have been against the top sides - they will get hammered.

P.S not an anti English rant.

I personally think Rooney lacked a bit of match sharpness but I don't think he had that bad a game some of his passing and positional play was excellent I do think he should have come off after 70 minutes though
