We have 15 taxis and a 16 seater minibus, I am looking for country wide breakdown cover, anyone know who is the cheapest?

I've been reliably informed that Green Flag have the best offers. The AA and Rac appear to be good but when you need them it's expensive

There's a loading for Taxis, you need to let them know because, if you ever breakdown and you haven't informed them it's for a buisness they'll either turn round and go back or bill you for the recovery.

I didn't have any problems with the AA. I took out individual cover for each vehicle in the company name. I only took out basic cover that cost at the time, it was an introductory offer, £15.00 per vehicle. The option was to upgrade the cover at any time. When we needed to call them out for one of our vehicles it cost me another £100 or something like that to upgrade that particular vehicle for relay. At the renewal time we didn't renew. We waited a day and then got the introductory offer again.
We even had cover through my personal bank account for the AA which we used when we had limousines without any problems. We had one recovered from Derby on the back of a huge trailer back to our garage without any extra cost. They covered the person in whatever vehicle they were in.

www.alpsltd.co.uk. You may need to ask them for a broker convenient to you. They offer everything from a basic cover up to including European. On a fleet you can mix and match types of vehicles so you can put on your taxis and your private car etc all on one fleet policy. The cover is vehicle specific, not driver specific.
