Taxi driver punched in Perranporth assaultPolice are appealing for witnesses after a taxi driver was assaulted in Perranporth.
The incident took place on St Pirans Road at around 5am on Saturday, 28 July.
The 44-year-old driver was punched by a man, sustaining stitches to his lip and bruising to his chin.
The suspect is described as being 6ft tall, in his late 40s, of large muscular build, clean shaven and with a shaved head. He spoke with a Geordie accent.
He was wearing a white Henleys t-shirt with a log on the front and back and light-coloured jeans.
