Diesel engine could be considered at a later stage. However, at this moment, the decision has been taken to introduce eco-friendly range-extended electric taxis with the capability of running in a pure electric mode. The estimated range of 100 miles is on a pure electric mode depending on the drive cycle and how much of re-gen braking energy could be recovered. There is a petrol internal combustion engine which will drive the generator to propel the motors or charge the battery. Hence the 300 miles per 12 hour shift is not a problem.



Yes, the cab has been designed to take the larger wheelchairs. Hope this clarifies.
