So what's stopping you paying them £8 per hour, other than you'd have to be employing them to pay them anything. You don't seem to understand that whilst you think you are very magnanimous and want to 'pay them' you are in fact paying them nothing at all and you don't seem to realise it is they that are paying you ffs

I would like to pay them £8 per hour but they would not agree as they rather stick on doing approximately £15 worth of work an hour and take 40%, yes they are paying me by doing the jobs but technically I am paying them as I am making them drive my vehicle, bring the customers to them and then they do the job and pay me the rest.

so without my car or my customers, they would not be getting paid.. CORRECT?

You could work this system both ways, your not wrong.. you can work it the way you just said or my way...

For example stock broking jobs, many are self employed? The company provide everything, you get a basic pay andthen commission (all self-employed)

I get 60% I am entitled to pay

- VAT
- Insurance
- Advertising
- System Cost
- Wages
- Office bills
- Office Rent and Rates
- Vehicle repairs
- Vehicle replacements
- Vehicle TAX
- Vehicle MOT
- Plate Renewals
- Fuel
- Customers who run off without paying costs me fuel, maintenance and so on
- and lots more

I get 10% if that...

Driver gets 40% and is entitled to pay

- NO TAX if so, very very little (as most dodge it)
- Little National Insurance
- Insurance Excess if they crash
