Rumour has it they've contacted a UNION, so lets watch developments?

No doubt the Union will advise the political route?

But the lesson is get the politicians onside and following your policies before its too late [IE NOW} as it probably is for these Cabbies.

When will they ever learn ????????????????? =D> =D> =D> =D> =D>

What if it was the 51 drivers on the waiting list that were in a union and lobbied their councillors?

Are those drivers to be treated like second hand drivers with no rights? :?

There was a time when unions represented the workers not the bosses.

Surely the Union would represent those WORKING at the trade, not those attempting to enter the trade to the detriment of that trade??

Evidently only 2 cabs are rented out the rest work their own vehicles solely rumour has it !

I would guess the 51 are working in the trade.

If only 2 are rented then that tells me the area wont be flooded with newly licensed vehicles.

If only two are being rented, then there can't be that many drivers out there able to drive a cab. So you could have an extra 1000 cabs, but no-one licensed to drive them.

More reasons to keep standards sky high.

1000 punters. 1000 licensed vehicles before de-limitation (50% taxi, 50% PH).

After delimitation 1000 punters. 1000 licensed vehicles.

Where do you get this from? since when are there 1000 punters to 1000 cabs, complete false cock n' bull again,

You're going to murder yourself and your too [edited by admin] stupid to see it fool.

It's going to be hilarious watching you moan about Addison Bee when they swamp Brighton out with this branch off, and remember, you made it happen.

Ok then, 1000 licensed vehicles 1 punter before, 1000 licensed vehicles 1 punter afterwards.

No change, unless the council is like yours and allows any old sh** to be licensed.

However in other areas trade reps don't allow that to happen by hard work, unlike your lot that moan and moan but do f*** all.

Likes of you ? Im hurt ! I still find it hard to understand.Another way to look at it is theres only so much street/rank work in any given day,so the more taxis chasing that the less earnings for me.Another point theres a lot less of that work in the winter months than the summer/season so where do those extra cabs on ranks go then?
