Anyway, the Vote this evening ..... EXCELLENT! The two rebels (probably friends of yours  )were thrown off and I was voted on.

Well I hope that a certain councillor didn't get voted on, you know the one that votes on fares and fees.

I mean it would be a very iffy firm that did that?

Yes Ted did get voted on, why, do you have a problem with that Sussex?

Isn't it great that people have the guts to stand up in public, unlike people like you who hide behind a pc screen and slag those who make a real effort.

Because that is exactly like you and others like you do... no excaping that is there \:D/

You should email him and ask your question and report the reply on here.

Considering that all your information is probably distorted third hand
your petty views do not worry me sado sussex . But I am please that we are so important in your life that you take such a huge interest:wink: We are probably the highlight of your day

We are on the UP

Well Sussex, on one hand you you purport to know all about my business, then on the other you seem to deny that you have sources. You must have sources.. you must be taking your precious time to make your enquiries. Either you fully know or you do not...make up you mind please. ](*,)

BTW. I ahve found this site to be very slow at times even though I am on 1mb DSL. If you need any help on this then just let me know

Thanks for the offer Andy, but no thanks.

I think the problem is the volume of traffic on here, not a problem that is currently afflicting your own site. Two gigs a month bandwith usage is probably a lot more than all the other taxi forums put together.

However, there is a period in the early morning from around 2am or so for a couple of hours or so when the site's performance is appalling, so I would avoid it at that time if you can.

Most of the time the site is as quick as your own forum, if not quicker, but in any case it's a cheap package, and we have no intention of upgrading it, since we aren't subsidised by restricted numbers, and thus don't have as much spare cash sloshing about as you

By the way, I wish you'd stop winking at me, it seems to be catching

If it does take off then perhaps it will give you lot at TDO more time to look after and you can concentrate on the politics and bitching ( no sussex.. no reference to you intended)

Never any bitching from you though Andy, I mean you've clearly decided to avoid this site totally?

BTW, tip for future reference - the word block doesn't work on the PMs, but presumably you knew that since you run a similar forum, but why stand in the way of a bit of marketing

Don’t understand that one

The phbbb has a facility for blocking words and replacing them with something else. For example, you can use it to block bad language or website addresses that carry defamatory remarks.

But this only works with the main board, it doesn't affect PMs.

So you could have PMed your URL to GBC without spacing the letters.

Here we go...protracted disassembled postings. I had a solicitor once who worked for me seemed to really enjoy what you do. Draw out something for as long as possible until I started questioning it.. got a discount in the end when I told her to cut to the chase.... anyway

What you mean is that you're not very good at debating Andy? Well we knew that from past experience anyway.

I no a lot of people in the trade don't like to be challenged, but it's different on here, that's why so many people don't like the site. Truth hurts, and all that.

But I see you still haven't addressed my response to your central charge last night, namely that we were being petty by blocking the address to your site.

And as I said, even you thought better of the defamatory remarks that you had posted on there. Let's hope that the person who's personal details you posted on your site, and who has nothing to do with the trade, never suffers any consequences as a result, you wouldn't want that on your conscience, would you?

And I'm still not fully convinced about your explanation about trying to market your site, after all it must be a year since you posted on here, and have been mentioned many times, yet lo and behold, a few days after launching your own site and you're back on here.

But surely you wouldn't want, in your words, However, it is let down by limited anonymous membership of around six contributors, to let down your effort would you? :-k

No.. I do not really do not have the time.. especially when others pop in and join a discussion like you have done when I was discussing with sussex. I do not have a great deal of spare time to go back and forth searching for answers to my posts from various individuals. My life is far to full & busy with important matters.

Well this is where you are wrong TDO. I did not post anyones PERSONAL details on my site at all. I did post a COMPANY ADDRESS (please stick to presenting facts and not fiction) and I also sent a letter to that address and I am still waiting for a reply to confirm this address . But I bet that there is a long wait for that  And as I said.. dont think for once that this matter has been dropped... far from it.

However, someone did post MY PERSONAL details on another site.. I wonder.. was this you you little tinker

Well we should then aggree to differ on that then. If you cannot accept that Sussex was the FIRST person to mention my site and posted misquotes about it then I suggest that you go back and look at the dates.

And if you can accept that I only posted the details when someone ASKED me to do so.. and not before then you need your head examined.. the evidence is all there to see.

As for the gap of about a year since my last post.. well.. so what has that got to do with anything. Nothing.. just a typical solicitors side tracking statement. If you are looking to blame someone.. blame sado sussexman. Sorry.. another wink there

I am welcome in most places, barred from an odd solicitors office in Manchester, but not to worry.

I have applied to the forum but it will not let me in

nevermind, life goes on.
