Your point is ? If you want to be picky,black isnt really a race,its just a colour. Thats why its probally more about equality.

Theres also an asociation for women police officers http://www.bawp.org/ and one for gay officers http://www.gay.police.uk but im not going to cry about it and suggest there should be one for male or straight cops. Each association has its aims and for a reason, just like when the Equal Pay act came into force.

And while we're on the subject of recognising laws i take it that also applies to the drunken white louts we have to pick up who resort to abuse , violence, non payment etc - ALL of which are not part of the law of this wonderful land ?

Hackney cab drivers in Pendle, Lancashire, say they will no longer be allowed to wear the shalwar kameez, a tunic with loose-fitting trousers.

The borough council wants a strict dress code to smarten up the drivers. Tracksuits, shorts, football and rugby tops, beachwear, short skirts, short dresses and flip flops would all be banned, as well as dirty or ripped clothing, and items with "offensive" or "suggestive" words or graphics.

The majority of Pendle's taxi drivers are Asian men, and many feel the rules would discriminate against them.

They gorra realise its for their own safety. Had a cab when i was up in Yorkshire with friends and the driver was wearing his traditional dress, looked very smart but i couldnt help thinking he would be a sitting duck if he picked up four idiots worse for wear with drink who'd pick on him for the way he was dressed. Just like the Man U fan wearing his top picking up a group of Man City fans.

You make very good comment, if the BNP,EDL etc got power no matter how much they try to control the will they will be overwhelmed by hate fighters and 1939 would become reality again, what is needed is a party for the British that represent immigrant's who wish to intergrate with the locals as well as the locals, I think the correct title for such a party would be the Anti Nasty League.

why not? ive not had any ethnics, immigrants, even irish ask if im a racist before getting in my car (i wouldnt furnish an answer anyway, my opinions ar mine and mine alone, as i believe im entitled to)

and i just LOVE the way the only two bodies you have as example organisations are the BNP and the EDL, as if hate is only one way
