Not many spaces left; if bookings are not received by this coming Friday; the hotel will sell the reserved rooms at the special rates off.

I have it on good authority that not a single Manchester licensed proprietor or driver has yet booked for the NTA conference.

In the Greater Manchester area only Trafford will be represented, there is little interest or no from either Leeds or Merseyside.

This is a truly shameful situation, for many years Manchester TODA effectively run the old NFTA, Manchester was the area which founded it.

In my opinion this type of apathy is why you are going to lose your plate values, you are going to see vehicles and drivers elsewhere taking your work - and once it happens there will be no return.

Perhaps if this is the type of interest which the taxi trade shows itself......then perhaps we should just let nature take its course - it will whither and die and in most large towns and cities you will be forced onto private hire radio circuits.

See you on the dole queue.

It's already happened here and they still show no interest. Apparently it's to far to travel and they can't afford the day off

It's a bit sad when you can't afford to protect your livelihood :? Perhaps it's not worth protecting?

I think some would say you're right. I think it's worth protecting but the morale is very low here

Who did that? Surely if it is at a national level they would want all drivers not just Manchester :?
