Even ignoring the patronising tone of your reply, I don't see your point.

Now concentrate

Did you make up the 90% figure?

Yes/No*

I didn't supply NASA with a Saturn five rocket either..but I knew that's what propelled their Apollo missions toward the moon...

Even by your level..that's about as stupid a remark as Iv'e ever seen. Your Thinking here is that unless your Involved in something first hand you can't possibly know anything about it...well, that explains a lot about your Political Views.

Get plenty of wheelchair jobs here, that cant get out of the chair. You could easily do 2 or 3 a day if your on a certain radio company. Yes some can get out,but theres a lot that cant you dont really think that they wouldnt like to do you ?

You choose not to provide a service and blame those who might want it for you not providing it.
That's got to be the most stupid statement you've made yet. Your not Homer Simpson are you?

As I'm PH and live in Real world..not Knee Jerk World, I dont need a to Drive a WAV, nor Would I want to Spend money on a WAV even as a Voluntary purchase because I know my Charge of Lets say £1.60 per passenger mile is going to be Usurped by the Charity /Volunteer Brigade who does the same work for only 40 pence a Mile..It's a no Brainer to Mr Wheelchair User who he's going to call first..Its the Cheaper Volunteers.

Your problem in WAV ownership terms is that your just there in the Rare Instance of no Volunteer being Available..your Simply a Fall back or Back up guys to the Charity Crew...Doh!

Any Taxi driver who did not have to Buy a WAV probably Wouldnt because they are Expensive In Comparison to a Saloon..it's just so simple..

Well at least you now admit the real reason is cost. Im sure the voluntary mob would just as happily cater for any of your customers, given half a chance. Also these voluntary groups didn't just muscle in, they started with the full aquiecence of the local trade, all of whom did not want the expense of providing Wavs.

No doubt it will come as a shock to you that Wavs can now be bought for similar money to saloon cars. Still im sure the trade will manage to come up with other reasons to hang on to their saloons.

Not at all, if there was demand everyone would run a WAV, if all calls needed 8 seats we would all run 8 seaters, the fact is the vast majority of jobs are for able-bodied passengers (despite what some LA's would have us believe), what % of the population a) are wheelchair-bound (unable to transfer) and b) use taxi's..............

and anyway, I can buy a WAV for less than a Mondeo.........

Just because a few unfortunate wheelchair users have no option but to use a four wheeled goldfish bowl for transport the majority of wheelchair users don't, a saloons what they prefer and a saloon is what I give them.....I am in fact catering for the majority of the disabled out there. And we never encouraged the volunteers because we failed to supply the service in the first place, I made enquiries with our council years ago about putting on a wheelchair accessible minibus, they just dismissed the idea out of hand at the time, since then they went gooey eyed over the charity sector and sponsored them to the hilt...so you are wrong in saying it was our own complacency which let these lot in the door.

Are you really that dillusional that you think all wheelchair users can just jump out of the chair and into a saloon car ? Maybe youve been watching too much little britain. Granted a lot of people prefer saloons but a lot of people bypass them for wav thats why theres a choice.

Are you blind or Just Ignorant...If you are suffering from either or both then I'll highlight the bit that debunks your comment..
