Harly a cause for celebration perhaps, but a minor milestone tonight with the quarter century being reached on the forum.

Despite the smallish number of contributors, the numerous spats and the fact that many of the messages posted hardly add much to the sum of human knowledge, I think that there have been some very good debates, and I've certainly learnt a lot, and I hope others have done so as well.

Of course, there would be no forum without its contributors, and hopefully the current regulars will still be with us at the half century, hopefully with a few newbies to boot.

And since some other sites seem to have nothing better to talk about than what's happening on here, not to mention libelling, misrepresenting and more generally just trying to rubbish TDO, then we must be doing someting right!

I second that, and would like to thank all those members, past and present, who have made me laugh.

Even those who were trying to be deadly serious at the time.

So 20% of the posts were from dear old Sussex. does he ever work or is he double shifting his car (obviously not a Metro Cab) with asylum seekers?
