The US has many thousands of gun related killings every year. Here they are still rare enough to be newsworthy.

I've been alive a reasonable time and I have never seen a real live gun on the streets, other than those being carried by the police.

How do the USA sort out their mess, f*** knows, but getting rid of those automatic things is a start.

Calls for banning will start with automatic weapons... when in fact KNIVES kill more people than "machine" guns

I think it's fairly safe to say that if automatic and semi automatic guns were to be made illegal to have then deaths by them would be reduced. That aside there are non automatic guns that with a little adjustment can be made into automatic weapons, so that would also have to be addressed. Obviously there are always going to be people that break the law in all countries but preventative measure surely must be the best way forward Putting armed guards at primary schools is not imo a good idea, I mean if nothing else it'd terrify the kiddies.
