Happy new year to you all. I have beaten all the targets that I set myself for the year. I earned £1,100 more in 2012 than in 2011 but I worked for 49 days less and finished earlier on Sunday mornings that before. Off to Spain later to relax for a week now that the Christmas/new year period is over and things can get back to normal.

Dont forget the tax man cometh at the the end of Jan

well what a great start to the year the new clutch and flywheel my harage fitted which went wrong inside 10 days has taken the gearbox out with it brilliant not only have i lost a lot of work and given away loads to competitors over the new year vehicle will be off the road for weeks and after spending fortunes on it this year looks like I will now have to shell out for a gearbox or scrap a 5 year old vehicle           engine also knackered despite changing the oil religiously every 10000 miles and putting activ 8 in it engine has lasted just 200000 miles

I will never buy VW again they don't build then robust enough for the job !!!!!

Bloody hell edders that's rotten luck given the care you have taken of the VW perhaps a deal with the Taxi Centre Glasgow could help I know they do a no deposit scheme reckon you could have a new motor on the plots within 24hrs, anyway best of luck to you hope you find a quick solution :) :)
