just HOW (practically) would anyone challenge a plating reg that may not be constitutional or legal?

i.e. a 200,000 mile limit for a PH

On the latest MOT that I have had, the mileage for the last four years is recorded.

Go to the magistrates court and claim it's an EU plot perpetrated by some cheese loving surrender monkeys.
That should do it. :D

thats OK but im on 4 monthly "age exemption" tests and plates, so id have to pay £50 3 times a year, add that to the 2 extra £85 tests and its soon gonna be to much

and as it has been said, MOT's now have mileages on them, plus tyre centres and garages put mileages on invoices too

Appeal to the council, when they say no, appeal to the mags. If they say no, appeal to Crown Court stating the case in the Bristol area that concluded the licencing laws are not fit for purpose.

Well I know how I'd do it, but the law's a bit different here in Jockoland.

I don't know of any LA up here with such a stupid rule.
