Wanted a bit more room as I have a very good customer who has tall guests that come to stay, and I cover the local rugby club, and some of them are like outhouses on legs I could have got another 3 year licence in March.
Was sitting number 2 on the rank last night when 2 guys got in the first cab, got strait back out and came to mine, I ask if there was a problem one said they could not get there legs in behind the drivers seat, a mitsubishi carisma, they where very impressed with the superb got an £9.00 tip for an £11.00 job :D :D :D
Now if by some miracle everyone did that

West Dunbartonshire test were
8 yrs and over 3 per year
Under 8 yrs 2 per year.
Under 1 yr old one test
After a two year campaign the Clydebank Public Hire Association have got that reduced to,

0-3 yrs one test
3-8 yrs. 1 test
Over 8 yrs 2 tests

Taxis between 3 and 8 yrs will be given an extra test each year if they have a major fail on steering brakes and suspension or present a taxi unsuitable for testing.

Not the best but an improvement.

Next up fees. West Dunbartonshire currently increase fees in line with their overall budget regardless of actual costs. 4% due on 1st April.
