Thanks for that dug. I feel a lot better knowing you are in some pain over this. And rightly so I may add. So tell me again, how much is you CRT radio position worth now, dug?

How the mighty have fallen. #-o #-o

Here's a link to some of your colleagues to keep you company, http://www.thetaxiforum.com/index.php/topic,1903.0.html can't you just feel their pain dug?

I was just thinking if you all got together you could form a support group.

You could all sit around in a circle and say things like “hi my names dug, I was once a proud member of CRT, and I used to be a businessman” #-o

[quote="Skull You can be sure whatever they pay for the permit. It will be a good few percent on top of what City Cabs are paying. :-|[/quote]
That's business is it not? Let those that want to sit out there, for hours on end, do so and pay for that priviledge.

Everything that has happened is vindication of everything we said all these years ago. Granted, it took a little longer than expected, but we got there in the end.

Yeah George, it feels real good to be proven right.

Very much so George, there is nothing quite like having the opposition working to further your company's interests.

Two years from now Edinburgh will be SATURATED with minicabs !

The only winners here will be the OWNERS of ECPH (minus Dode's share)who already EXPLOIT the drivers on their fleet.
Come April with the introduction of the extra 100 vehicles that currently service EAL the jobs per car will be far less than the current number- Hardly worth SELLING your soul and future for!

Many have said that when Dode is found out for what he REALLY is it will be even more SHOCKING than his mate IAIN COLQUHOUN -how right they are!!!!!!!

When the CONSEQUENCES impact on real people's lives that the trade has been sold out -the one thing that will be REMEMBERED FOR MANY MANY YEARS TO COME!

GEORGE AIRD-THE MOST DEVIOUS UNDERHANDED SELFISH PERSON IN THE ENTIRE HISTORY OF THE TRADE!!!!!!!!!!!!
WHAT A WONDERFUL LEGACY TO LEAVE BEHIND!!!!!!!

That's quite an achievement in the face of some stiff competition.

I wonder how many attempts it took the bold boys to cobble that piece of horse meat together? Can you picture Murray, Tony and Kev working out where best to put the bold letters, capitals and exclamation marks! Best thing about it is the committee time that will be billed to the fool members.

I thought it wasn't possible to fool people all the time, that's the age old adage, clearly CRT think they can rewrite this also.

I think CRT, may have been in trouble before the tender went in. It makes no sense to break with City Cabs and risk it all with ECPH, waiting in the wings to mop up.

A joint tender was the only way to go. What the fu*k were they thinking? It wouldn’t surprise me if you hear that CRT, are in some sort of financial trouble, and as always, they need to hike radio dues to stay afloat. :-|

If I was Dod Aird. I would open up City Cabs to a limited number of Centrals cars, and work the Airport permit into their radio dues over a period of five years to bring them in as full members.

CRT would be financially crippled inside a fortnight. No more buying the work through discounting with radio dues.

Then City Cabs and ECPH could have a bun fight over the remainder of their contracts. :-|

Sounds like a plan

Not a bad plan but the problem isn't City taking them on the problem is the central members getting out of their contract with the company. If the carrot is dangled I am quite confident there will a few meeting with a lawyer to see how they can walk away.

But I might be wrong and they will all knuckle down and rank up to do their Poundland fares! The current estimate is that CRT are in the mire to the tune of £700k a year to find for all their recently awarded work.

Anyway B and Q are doing 30% off masonry brushes, surely the brothers can afford to go for these?

Get painting ya fuds.

There are many of the opposition working and furthering City's cause, problem for them is they don't see it. It must be so frustrating for the decent guys who are holding out some sort of hope to have all the mob with their bile making it an easy choice for the average city member to say "get it right up them."

Oh how the Gilmerton Rottweiler, Clermiston Mint, Nantwich Knob and the failed casual must be hurting their fingers as they type!
