It's ComCab's last hurrah before they are forced to close down. Their black cab fleet is down to between 80-90 and that is only going to dry up with some taking up the airport option with City Cabs. There can't be much future for ComCab securing any contracts or funding any advertising with this size of fleet never mind the lack of revenue to pay for the running of Spitfire House. Can you honestly see Onward drivers taking up the option of doing radio work against working the airport? A lot of Onward might be saying they won't work under an ECPH management but in all reality they will sign up.

Who would have thought a few years ago that one of the largest transport providers in the world (Comfort Delgro) would be sent packing?

CRT’s demise will depend on how long members are willing to keep paying to bail out the company. They are a gullible bunch at the best of times, so a slow lingering death is almost a certainty unless of course, a good number decided to jump ship.

I wouldn’t be hanging about, if it were me, especially in the current economic climate. The last thing you want is to be sitting around on ranks with your thumb up your ar*e, while paying for the privilege. #-o

So what're the chances of Murray ever making it to the AGM on the 3rd of March 2013? #-o

First, we both know it will be one rank  coz that's what the airport wantsecond, any Crt member applying will be emptied  and yes they will be scumbag scabs too So,  are you proud to stand shoulder to shoulder with your drug dealing partners ? Dress it up anyway u want shanksy  your company have went into partnership with ph when no one else would, and for what ? To save their own measly skins  and never even asked the guys they are supposed to serve

It's a wee shame being a CRT mushroom just look at the [edited by admin] being spouted on the darkside by Private Pile and friends.

One rank; Yer committee (Tony) couldn't even understand the brief, that's why yer in the mire, 2 ranks it is bonny lad. The 82 CGSA Act doesn't allow for a mixed fleet rank, imagine Tony and Co not knowing this, ho ho.

CRT getting permits; There is more chance of the Colkyboy getting elected back on your committee at the AGM.

Drug dealing partners; I would say that your ISP Address will be of interest to the authorities and more. Have you mugs never stopped to think that the individuals who hold between them over 2500 licenses (vehicle and base) are the most vetted and scrutinized people in the UK. It is quite amusing to see that your best defence of your iconic trade is to continually try and blacken the opposition when all around you your trade is disassembled.

Tony and Co have got you all in a mess, wanting to be billy big baws. Form an orderly line (painting pun) and ask the bold boys of Gilmore Place all about the 82 act and why did CRT ignore the wee bit about not being able to have a single rank. Tony in all his worldly business experience obviously never knew about this and chose to tender with Onward as a single mixed fleet approach. Now what a knobber he is!

Add Tony ( I really think I'm Alan Sugar) Kenmuir to the list Skull. He's even going round the ranks taking the credit for securing the RBS and Health Board contracts. Fabulous Tony, you managed to double the discount to 26% on the RBS then surpassed yourself giving the Health Board 30%, you are the man!

Upon reading your post Fat Boab, I get the distinct impression, CRT, is to be sunk without a trace. It’s almost like. They never deserved to exist in the first place, and alas. Life is so unfair. And here’s me thinking the elite, at CRT towers, were beyond the vagaries of the real world. Ah well, some sheeple are destined to learn the hard way. :-|

Enjoy! :-|

Fu*k me, at which point do these pricks wake the fu*k up? It’s a strange world when you are dealing with people who are hell-bent on their own destruction. #-o

How thick must the mushrooms of CRT be? Probably not as thick as they are desperate.

Its two seperate ranks say cc commitee and all the members. ECPH at the old onward travel site and CC at the old drop off point BU**sh** boys your being humped the document http://www.edinburgh.gov.uk/downloads/f ... ng_offices says different 1 office in terminal as is today and the second is at the current drop off zone (the application is tied onto the lampost for all to see) both in the name of the Airport managment company ECPH confirmation that cc are playing second fiddle to ECPH .ITs going to be one rank(sorry mean holding area) unless offcourse you cc boys can show different . Now heres the question will you share the rank or will you grow a pair and tell your commitee to GFTS or will you simply be the sheep that you always have been.

You have to love them, they post a link to try and exploit the devious deeds of City Cabs and lo and behold what does it show us, 2 seperate applications from ECPH. The first for the existing Onward set up and the other for the outer forefourt.

[color=#FF0000]13-Feb-13 13/01987/BKOFCE Checks Outstanding Taxi/PHC Booking Office Main Terminal (Desk-Unit HAT 14) 1 Edinburgh Airport Jubilee Road Edinburgh EH12 9DN Edinburgh City Private Hite Ltd New Licence
13-Feb-13 13/01988/BKOFCE Checks Outstanding Taxi/PHC Booking Office Outer Forecourt South Of Main Terminal Zone B 1 Edinburgh Airport Jubilee Road Edinburgh EH12 9DN Edinburgh City Private Hire Ltd New Licence

Now all you thick alter egos out there read carefully, both applications are in the name of ECPH. It is not a joint venture application ya bunch of spangles, it is for ECPH only. City Cabs who will be operating a Public Hire rank (carribean holidays) do not require to book their hires, PHC do. As much as I would like to help you numpties and explain in detail how the 2 seperate companies, with 2 seperate feeder ranks providing 2 seperate services will shortly be operating it is more fun watching you implode.

The pain is there for all to see, why do the guys of 'Poundland Taxis' keep asking City Cabs to grow a pair, is it some fascination you all have? We know Tony (i am Alan Sugar, honestly) Kenmuir wanted to be Billy Big Baws and look where that's got you all. A bit of a 'balls up' right enough.

Boab, you are wasting your time. These numpties live in some sort of alternate reality. Their world seems to skip between outright denial and self-delusion. The real world for them is telling some sorry [edited by admin] on holiday they are businessmen. #-o

Skull, why are they in denial, one of your famous read books must have an answer?

For some reason when Kev Wood was out over the weekend and taking photos of the pole with the notice he failed to see the area where all the City Cabs are going to be ranked up. That is adjacent to the pavement on the nearside kerb with the PHC on the other pavement side (where the pole is Kevin), a fabulous set up all designed with the customer in mind.

All the Poundland taxis will have an excellent view of how this operates when they are driving by en-route to the £1 drop off.

P.S. Chaps, does anyone out there know where any licensed hackney cab company steeped in tradition and black cab values can order 70 VW Passats? Answer to come later unless you can get to Tony Sugar first!

Apparently the bold boys (Gilmore Paint Company) were so confident of winning the airport tender that they pre ordered 70 shiny new VW Pasatts! Didn't know they were approved as hackneys ho ho.

They'll be selling tickets for the upcoming AGM, what with Tony selling the jerseys over FTS, Murray selling the company financials and the remainder selling off 70 unwanted brand new motors.

In your book Skull would you say this equates to a kick up the arse or a knock out?

It's 100% for real.

The bold boys were looking to put on approximately 90-100 PHC of their own. 70 were to be estate vehicles and the balance people carriers. Don't know how they were going to get them plated in such a short space of time with April being the contract go live, I am sure Tony Sugar had a plan, of sorts!

Now all the boo boys on the darkside are spouting off that they've seen the tender specification, hopefully they can get to see the pages that are being withheld. While there at it they should also enquire as to why CRT registered a new company to be their airport division?

Much, much more to come on this front.
