Interesting. Popcorn does not travel well even positioned in the front row.

Weathers originals are a favourite of mine.

Red Carnations in the Lapel Mr Artur & Mr Money.

I admire your retort Mr Artur, noble at least.

Knowledge is indeed power Hannibal.
But those with power should be mindful not to abuse it.

Inspirational retort once more Mr Artur, and I'm sure a hidden meaning.

You see a lot, Doctor. But are you strong enough to point that high-powered perception at yourself? What about it? Why don't you - why don't you look at yourself and write down what you see? Or maybe you're afraid to.

Is this coincidence, or are you back on the case? if so, goody-goody.

Ah the poetic starling is tired.

Now then, tell me. What did Miggs say to you? Multiple Miggs in the next cell. He hissed at you. What did he say?
He said, "I can smell your cunt."
I see. I myself cannot. You use Evian skin cream, and sometimes you wear L'Air du Temps, but not today.

I don't think anyone outside the Edinburgh trade has a hope of following all this, but I thought I'd throw my favourite Lecter quote in. 8)

An airport spokesman claimed the new contract would guarantee an improved level of service. He said: “Submissions were reviewed by an independent staff panel, with the tender process overseen by an independent external body.

We believe it will provide a step change service for passengers at Scotland’s capital city.”

This is quality. No name for the spokesman. The absolute cowards that they are.

"Improved service"? Really? Less qualified, linguistically challenged drivers, without having passed the knowledge test? "Improved service"? This isn't about improving service levels for customers you are only intent on dipping their pockets.

And from an organisation that only sees those who are forced to pass over their land as a cash cow. Nothing has changed with the new ownership of the airport. We still have a greedy, grasping organisation whose whole aim seems to be to rip of the public. Which other business charges for their customers being dropped off at their front door?

(Incidently a recent job to Glasgow airport showed it has none of this £1 drop off larceny. So, why is this inflicted on Edinburgh?)

It is a disgrace that government does nothing to protect us against this assuredly monopolistic commercial larceny.

And it's because they operate an effective monoploy that they should NOT be in the private sector.

ECPH director Kevin Woodburn said the firm intended to operate 24 hours out of the airport to meet requirements.

He defended the company, saying: “Every single driver, every single vehicle and this company is fully licensed, vetted and accredited through the local licensing authority.

“Any comments that other companies might like to make are not only way off the mark, but they’re factually incorrect.”

You have to laugh at Woodburn. He hatches all these grand schemes to promote the business, as he's no doubt charged to do in the interest of generating profit, but it won't be him sitting out at the airport for hours with his finger up his ar*e to get a job to Edinburgh Park or the Norton House hotel.

I've worked with the Company. I know how they operate. I've had the great jobs when in favour. I've suffered sitting on the city zone for over an hour suspicious that jobs were being allocated to those ranked behind me when out of favour. It was made quite clear to me that because of the disparity in vehicle types etc, jobs are not allocated in strict successive order. And I accept they can't be. But the power this element of the system provides to controllers is immense. And My experience brings me to believe they exercise that power, to the disadvantage of other drivers.

Woodburn's role is simply to crank up the profit ante at the expense of drivers who will have to pay more for the privilege of joining the biggest rank social club in the town. Like when he increased the company's take from 7 to 10% from contract jobs, AT A TIME WHEN DRIVERS WERE ALREADY STRUGGLING. Nice people aren't they? Do you think they care?

Will Woodburn be playing taxi roulette sitting it out waiting for a flight in the middle of the night in the hope of getting a country job, with the reality being a job just along the road, and a return to the airport to replay Woodburn's privilege.

Bet on the simple truth that none of this is being done for the good of PH drivers. Isn't it certain that Woodburn has simply become contaminated with the same cash cow mentality of the airport management?

Meanwhile, welcome back to the city Central drivers. The only question for you lot surely has to be whether you will still be wearing the Company's livery?

Finally, that Edinburgh's police and council making no comment needs a full public inquiry.

So after building it up and then letting us all down with his damp squib it seems that Colky (aka fat boab) has left the building to confer with his ECPH mates.

It shows all along that all he tried to do was shift the focus off ECPH and their, as yet unsigned, contract with the airport. The real problem lies with City Cabs not realising that they are in a partnership where ECPH have 2 booking offices against their none. As they are ranking alongside private hire (City Clowns to the left, Mafia jokers to the right!!) it means that the general public cannot have free access to that area. So EVERY customer has to go through a booking office where they will be met by ECPH. So the wheat goes to PH and the chaff is left for the taxis - until the ph fleet is built up in number. So, after 5 years.......................................??

THAT is the crux of the problem, not CRT Vs City or anybody just The Weegie Mafia stirring the [edited by admin] using the old Colky fool.

btw as for jasbar, he still doesn't have a clue. One day he might research his subject and then he may be in a position to make sensible comment.
