Morrisons up to 145.9 now top BP same price but you can't get near the place everybody is desperately trying to fill up because they know the next delivery will be another 2p a litre higher

yes, they fill right up and do 100 miles a week lugging a full tank round which drops their MPG, and if its petrol it can evaporate some too.......lol

I remember when the price was in shillings and pennies but I can't remember exact prices. The memory fades a bit when you get to my age you know.

In truth, I remember seeing the prices when out with my grandad; probably early/mid 60s. I passed my test 21/1/72. I remember that day vividly because it was aforementioned grandad's birthday and my dad threw me the keys of one of his office cars for my first solo drive....From the miidle of a busy town....to go and see grandad. I was $h!tt!ng myself!!!!

Which makes it £7.50 a gallon for £15 worth.
