What part of the fact that these surveys are just a means to get the answers the council wants?

They know full well what the outcome is, because they programmed it.

All surveys and consultations prove is how corrupt our government is.

But there again, when a midweek nights fare level drops from 26 to 14, there is just a chance that no demand is going to be identified.

But that doesn't excuse the immorality of serfs who would run their own vehicle if they were allowed to.

I can't debate with you anymore Jasbar. You will only ever see things your way and good luck to you. Thankfully you're a social misfit so no one listens to you.

You're never going to get derestriction

jasbar while I totally respect your right to have and express your views do you not think that repetatively starting threads that you already know the answer to is somewhat futile and sadly will inevitably lead to the thread becoming personal about you and therefore counter productive to your initial good point?

Life is to short..........

ps

Remember I am and always will be a DRIVER and not an owner. I am very happy with my lot. I work hard and in my opinion get rewarded well for it. Each to their own though and hopefully one day you will get what you wish for.

Baffles me why he doesn't do something constructive with his idea.

Just posting the same inane drivel makes him feel important.

Here's an idea Jizzy.....move to east lothian

Oh and Longshanks, there was nothing stopping Halcrow assessing demand by including in their survey, driver's rentals. Drivers are the ones meeting the demand and paying for the privilege. You could have easily ended up with a 100 vehicle increase and maybe more. #-o

The point is, you can't find what you are not looking for. :-|

You sound ridiculous! Had the report went your way you would be praising it.

Haven't you opened the dog crèche yet?? (giggle)

We are still waiting for the planning permission, but we have been given a dead line, for the beginning of June. =D> =D> =D>

Oh and the difference is, no putting up with ars*holes, while working fewer hours for more money. #-o #-o #-o #-o #-o

How naïve of you Skull to think you won't be dealing with ars£holes in your new venture. You'll be dealing with lots of ars£holes, even cleaning up after them with a pooper scooper. How apt, a [edited by admin] cleaning up the [edited by admin]!!

On the back of the Trees for Scotland video posted earlier this week, where City Cabs were shown to be off setting their carbon footprint by planting trees in a forest in Perth. A fantastic initiative benefiting Scotland's environment directly.
Central Radio Taxis on the other hand offset their carbon footprint in China. CHINA?

That really benefits the Scottish environment.

Listen, I take my hat of to Skiman, 41 years in the trade working with people like you and not committing murder or ending up in the loony bin. He should be given a medal. =D> =D> =D> =D> =D> =D>

And not a better time to get out, YOUR TRADE IS FU*KED!!

Oh and that's why I told your Lords and Masters to shove the licence.

Thanks Skull, if I ever get up north we must meet up, unlike the other tossers I have no fear of you! They don't like hearing the truth do they! The trade down here is in a similar position but we are lucky as the recession has not hit that hard here.

Not just offsetting their carbon footprint, but providing a shady spot to grow more mushrooms. Just feed them a steady diet of the schecht you and Artur spout and you'll have the next generation of plate owners.

Pure genius. I take my hat off to City Cabs.

This post has been changed!!! I quoted a comment from "Kaiser Soze" where he said something about "niggers", a definite racist slur, there was never no serfs mentioned, only Mcnggers....Who removed or changed this? The reading was very uncofortable and why I made a comment and wrote my people hating rant towards Soze.
What has happend???????????
Someone is trying to cover things up me thinks.

No someone is trying to stop racists words getting on TDO, but people like you are trying to circumvent the word sensor. Thanks.

For the record anyone else who tries to circumvent the word sensor in future will be banned for 30 days, and then for good should it happen again.

Carbon offset is a bogus illusion.

The taxi spewing out particulates in front of me is all I need to know about the company's carbon footprint.

You wanna do something, then do it here in Edinburgh, where you are wreaking your havoc with the quality of air here.

Rather than trumpeting this, you should have the wit to realise its a matter that should remain in the background. But you need to have the wit somewhat north of a six year old to understand this
