One of my neighbouring authorities have rear loading, the other does not.
Seems to be down to the individual licensing dept as to what they deem as "safety".
If rear loadings compromises safety then what about ambulances, community transport minibuses, delivery vans when they park outside shops on their rounds?

and if a rear loader WAV is a deathtrap, what about the E7 where the back row of passengers are against the back window?...

a good rear ender would smash the back row in

This will make you laugh

the school I run into has a lot of taxis/PH turn up daily, about 10 are WAV's (from 100% WAV/hack LA's)

The school has not ONE wheelchair bound pupil...................

They are for the occasional use of wheelchair bound people. Do you think that's all they should do? #-o

ah, now we get to the point.... LA's (who do) insist on a 100% whole fleet of WAV's for the "occasional" wheelchair job simply have not done their homework

I just asked a WAV hack how many wheelchair jobs he does...

"the 3 part ramp is heavy so I told the base not to give me any wheelchair jobs.."

=D>

I wish you'd get to this point. #-o
