Oh thought it was the wav, but on the phone you can tell anyone to do one, or you dont have one for an hour or tomorrow or next year, just provide them with another number if they want a cab yesterday

I think you'll find it's an offence to refuse to carry a disabled person per se because they are disabled, but if they are rude/offensive/soiled clothing/refuse to pay/have refused to pay in the past, in my view there's nothing to worry about.

If he's not wheelchair-bound he doesn't need a WAV, so maybe one of the other cars could take him. Maybe they're all "busy" when he phones up?? We have a number of potential customers who are listed on the phone memory as "nono" or "avoid" because they've buggered us around in the past by not being there/cancelling when we've got there or are generally obnoxious.

We had to ban a disabled drunken ex-serviceman a few years back who booked the car one night, stopped to buy fags and booze on the way then didn't have enough to pay us. He was listed as a nono; no disciplinary action was taken against us because of that.

Don't like someone don't let them in, on our system if you send a contract back you automatically get booked off for 4 hours, don't know why, anyone who sends one back usually has an excuse, oh I've got a flat tyre, ma car won't start.

I guess your human rights also allow you you to chose what pre-booked work you happen to chose to do.

His lawyers playing the scare game, don't blink first, let his lawyer waste his time and money.

You need to report him to the police for harassment.

Don't let him win, he is a scum-bag that gets high on being a c***.

Take one step at a time and this can and will be sorted.

Just adding my support, for what it's worth. As has been stated, you didn't refuse a disabled passenger, you refused on grounds of his past conduct. Any solicitor worth his salt should resolve this in your favour. Use the laws/bye-laws and beat him about the head with them.
