Got a letter yesterday (6th) dated July 31st "all current door signs to be replaced with vehicle specific signs available for free (for a time), bring your V5 to our office"

Id been in on monday (5th) but didnt know....

Why not just replace at re-license?

What happens if someone has just gone on their hols, and ain't back till after August 31st? Are they working illegally when they come back and don't know?

It's very good of them not to take it out of your fees ect? So who's paying for it?

Its just you getting them warning that the driver of this vehicle makes up the prices as he goes along

the difference is...........it has the PH or HC plate number on it, not the vehicle reg

change for change's sake?

now when a sign is removed or stolen they cant just issue any old door sign from a stock of 100's, it has to be ordered as its unique...

best yet, the instructions show signs attached to front doors whereas our regs stipulate rear doors....how long before someone follows the printed instructions?..
