Is trade good or is he one of those people that lives on debt based on a very upbeat business forecast and hopes that they will manage to generate the cashflow to manage it !

Is the Mercedes that's shown a Hybrid as well or is it just an oil burner like the rest of us have? And is Carbon offset not just an excuse for pretending that your lawn and that ancient Victoria plum tree in your garden will offset enough belched Diesel fumes and carcinogenic particles that it will in some way save the Planet and it's Inhabitants.

What a load of green hyper-dribble that is..

I would like to come across a person that doesn't currently live on debt.

NO Scrooge is my hero

I don't like borrowing money unless absoluteley neccessary why pay all your hard earned cash over in interest payments to a bank or building society where even the cleaner is on a better wage than you ?

besides which I haven't been able to engineer the time off for a holiday in 8 years and this year is no different due to being seriously short of drivers at the moment

my drivers pay £50 a week maximum the driver shortage is because one driver is off long term sick (recovering from a serious health issue) one having a 3 month sabatical in Pakistan straight after another came back from 7 weeks there and another sacked for a constant string of customer complaints there are plenty out there want to work for us but I am not prepared to take them on because I know what they are like

most of my drivers have been with us a long time it is very rare for one to leave unless I sack them and that has only happened 3 times in 10 years

FFS, I haven't been able to engineer a holiday for 8 weeks and I feel hard done by. I came back on August 23rd and can't go again until October 20th
