Actually one of our drivers took a photo on his phone a few years ago that showed the MPG in one of the stretched limos as 999.9 MPG.

lets stick to TRUE MPG, over 10 tank fulls, brim-brim....

i KNOW my Mondeo averages a TRUE 50mpg cos ive always recorded mileages and ltrs used and ONLY ever brim it, no odd £10 or £20 extras

550 miles on a tankful without risking it is enough for me

I couldn't tell you a true MPG but on my Mondeo TDCi, over the last five years I've had it, the trip computer at the end of each week shows an average of 38mpg and 17mph. I only fuel up once a week and reset the computer at the same time.

It's only used for short trips round town (between 1-2 miles) with the rare out of town. It works out at current prices about 19p per mile.
