Hi - I am new to this forum and also a Taxi drive.

I am trying to revise for my knowledge test and struggling to do it in the Eastbourne area...

Do you pro's have any tips apart from the standard learn the A to Z....? I even asked for an example test but the council don't have any and told me to learn the arterial roads etc..... arghhhhhhhhhh......

Any tips or help would be appreciated

Thanks :)

Unfortunately there is no easy way to learn for a knowledge test. A to Z is the most useful tool short of driving around all the roads. Learn all the main roads, then learn what's on them such as schools, police station, hospital, pubs, hotels etc. Chat to other taxi drivers and ask their advice. Good luck :D

If you don't know the area then there is no substitute for driving or cycling around learning it. With a forum handle like yours sounds like your ex army we used to have an ex soldier on here went under the name of doom who was from somewhere near there on the south coast might even have been eastbourne If you can get hold of him he might be able to give you some good advice i'm sure he'd help an ex squaddie !

You need to do it at a school with other prospective drivers you can share experiences/help with.
