Just had a call from one company (i forget the name) who told me they couldnt insure me because I had only been driving for two years!

that was when logbooks were in latin and you had a chap with a red flag walk in front

Try UK Insurance Solutions, I believe Matt the owner is registered on here.

They were the cheapest for me. Me + one named driver (just turned 25), 2k per year.

Sadly I do not have his number to hand though.

the sickening thing is you pay over the odds for H&R insurance then dare not claim off your own if you have a bump and no 3rd party to blame, especially till you reach the point of having protected NCD

except Skippy is old, with 30 years NCD on his H&R insurance and has a licence since before steam
