Sussex, do you think some of the boys in Edinburgh are a little nervous of the outcome?
If they had any sense then they should support your applications, but I suspect many are too thick to realise that issuing a dozen or so plates is better than hundreds.

As for the council's actions, well when you are dealing with un-elected officials (LOs) and elected buffoons (councillors), then nothing will ever surprise me.

That’s exactly the point, had anyone applied common sense instead of greed, control and power this could have all been avoided.
The trouble is they think they have a monopoly on the only game in town, well its time to think again.
For me I win no matter what way it cuts, even if we were lose in court all we have lost is time. The problem the Council have is that even if they get the survey of demand it does not apply to our applications, it quite simply comes down to the demand at the time our applications were made and the council don’t have the answer.
I might also add that when the council tendered for the survey they stated in the document that the PHV had doubled in the last five years.
On the bases of this knowledge alone the council know that the unmet demand is being taken up by the PHV.
These lunatics sent the tender document out while stating that there was no unmet demand in Edinburgh in reply to our applications. This begs the question, if there is no unmet demand then where are all the PHV coming from.
Another question might be, if you already know the answer to the survey why commission a survey at all?
No demand is “no” demand after all.
Lunatics!
