Taxi fare scale to be frozen by SBC

Councillors are expected to agree not to increase the maximum taxi fare charges on Tuesday.

Officers have recommended the current scale remains the same, having increased by 2.5 per cent last year and five per cent the year before that.

Very few operators took part in the consultation on the fare scale review.
