Any thoughts from member's

We are up for consultation for a rate increase we have a mixed fleet IE: saloons and WAV

Presently we have a number of extras as follows

No of passengers 1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8
Extra £.00 £0.30 £0.60 £.90 £2.10 £3.30 £4.50 £5.70

The problem is many car drivers don't bother with extras but multi seat drivers have too

Im proposing to scrap exras for cars and put the flagfall up and just have multiple for multiseat drivers say 1.3 to 1.5

Any views on this matter to make a simpler system

A lot of places do fare + 50% for 5-8 passengers.

That is what we have here. Although there is one chap who would like a system similar to the above.

we use rate 1 and 2 for upto 4 passengers and rate 3 and 4 for 5 to 8 passengers. Rate 1 is fare, rate 2 is fare and a quarter, rate 3 is fare and a half and rate 4 is double fare.

At the begining, which does cause problems on multi-drops.

Id arranged a 8 seater for someone needing it, they rang up the next day "one has dropped out, will it be cheaper..."
