cant a driver call in a job, so long as its in the base bookings before passengers actually get in the car?

ive handed folks who asked my card, told em to ring the number and taken the booking

on my mobile

then told em to get in

lol

Shouldnt make a difference to the office should it? i mean your paying a set fee to them, not a per job basis!

you give yourself body+soul to the base when you rent the radio, you do what they say, you pay when your on holiday too, or risk a smacking

So good way to boost income would be to get a private bookings license as well? no taxi rank involved!

If you have done your licensing policy knowledge test with your licensing authority..... Shouldn't you know all this?
Just asking. I got my badge in December and I know this was the stuff I had to learn and be tested on and get 90% answer right before I could carry on with any more

its an interesting point

if I hadnt got an ops licence (£40 here) and was on a base, and my daughter asked me to take her to the airport/work/etc would i be breaking the law?

is it down to getting paid or a freebie/lift?
