Terry's got a decent point, politicians, well conservative politicians, most of whom are elected by a small minority of the population want to take away people's right to withdraw their labour because in their opinion not enough people vote!!!

I note the Tories cry "foul" yet again over the strike ballot with proposals that a certain percentage of the members must vote for the strike to be valid.

Pity they don't apply the same logic to general elections, then we'd see who get in! A certain (high) percentage of the electorate voting to enable a government to be formed?

So if the percentage is not reached, what happens next?

So what are the Unions doing about it - once again NOTHING! they sit and watch the trade Union movement, slowly but surely being dismantled.

I have said it many, many times - many of the Union leaders are on the government pay roll
