And that's why Islam is so dangerous. It infects people, then it's just a short step to fundamentalism and extremism.

I just though you might appreciate a good piece of honest writing, and it doesn't come much better than Winston Churchill. He knew what Islam meant to the world over a hundred years ago, and the above quote is even more relevant today.

I was brought up in the Christian faith, but I had a healthy skepticism for what I was being taught at an early age, and it wasn't long before I had worked out religion was a load of shi*t. I then read a lot of books on Eastern faiths such as Buddhism and Taoism, and they do add some insightful philosophy to life. However, I also read books like the God Delusion by Richard Dawkins and whatever doubt I had was galvanised into a complete rejection of fairy stories, masquerading as truths by people who claim to know the mind of God and act on his instruction.

Then of course, there was the "War" in Iraq X2 Saddam/WMD by the fundamentalist Christians of America with team GB playing a supporting role, 9/11 and the "War" in Afghanistan with everything being predicated on opposing faiths, the Christians against the Muslims and vice versa. When we all know what it was really about, Oil and Arms' dealing and having strategic outposts positioned all over the world.

Even so, what really brought it home, was the Murder of Lee Rigby by two radicalised Muslims. Quite honestly, I though, fu*k that, why should religion hold a privileged position in society, where it fails to receive the ridicule, it so richly deserves. So I started slagging off idiots who allow themselves to be brainwashed into believing this shi*.
