We already have control of our borders, hence the very long delays trying to get back into the country after I've been working abroad, already stated in an earlier post! Have you ever joined the 2 hour queue at Calais trying to board a ferry or shuttle train? The majority of people being inconvenienced are UK passport holders, not "illegal immigrants" who would stow away in a lorry anyway! Why delay millions for the sake of a few?

ISTR the cons have already proposed that immigrants must be able to support themselves and the majority of immigrants already do.

We already have appoints based visa system and time limited work permits.

ISTR the cons are also proposing no free access to the NHS except in emergency.

And NO, I don't have a clue who I'll be voting for in the coming elections, none of the parties appeal to me, especially not with our stupid "first past the post" electoral system.

The EU elections are not first past the post. They are PR so you will be OK for that election.

The NHS is swamped with those who come over for free ops and maternity delivery, I honestly cannot see your argument.

If the government ever admit to a figure of any sort i.e only 2 million have come over, then you can triple or quadruple it. Go to London to find a Londoner and you will practically have more chance of winning the lottery.
