I only take issue with the "peace" part of your post. Islam is not a religion of "peace" by any stretch of the imagination, or perhaps you never viewed the link to the News story that started this thread?

Where do you think.The Koran came from? It is simply the Arab version of the Christian Bible and Jewish Torah with a few other so-called "religious" texts thrown in for good measure. Historically, it couldn't be further from the "literal word of God" if it tried. In fact, I'm sure I read somewhere that the final Koranic text was decided upon by a committee, no less, because of all the in fighting. God's messenger, the Archangel Gabriel has a lot to answer for...

your writing off of the bible as fantasy fails when the scrolls back up so much of the biblical texts and have been authenticated as genuine

Let me tell you as an ex school govenor, this attitude within the Muslim community is nothing new, what would be helpful would be some from within the Muslim community speaking out against it, they never do , the situation in Birmingham is disgraceful and will be replicated across the UK.

The Muslim community fails regularly to criticize its extremist elements and some very unfortunate traits developing within their community ie
