If the majority remain silent, the minority is the only voice we hear.

How are the majority remaining silent when their views are not given the same amount of media publicity as the minority?
Remember the golden rule for the media "CONTROVERSY, BAD NEWS, et all" sells newspapers.
If im an editor of say the Daily Asswipe (oops i meant Daily Mail) and one of my reporters has a story of 1000 muslims going about their normal friday prayers and the mosque leader is speaking out against the bad eggs in the muslim community , and i have another reporter with a story of a dozen muslims nearby waving extremist placards and shouting death to all infidels then thats the story i will publish (i'll mention in a little colum somewhere about the other 1000 just to make it look im giving the whole picture but hey as long as i sell my paper who gives a flying f--k)
We didnt blame the whole west indian community for not doing enough when members of their clan were selling drugs or pimping, we didnt blame the whole irish for the bombings, and we all bleated "UNFAIR" when we all got banned from playing in europe after a minority of Liverpool fans caused havoc at the Heysel Stadium.
Look at how our industry has always been portrayed by the media. A man has raped a woman, he's a bus driver by trade but the headline wont mention his occupation. Same goes if he is a train driver, a driving instructor, a lorry driver, need i go on. but if hes a taxi / private hire driver thats the headline you will see "TAXI DRIVER does this, TAXI DRIVER does that, TAXI DRIVER puts his left foot in and puts his left foot out.
We can all do the okey cokey till kingdom come but ignorance isnt the answer
