Kidnapping someone and demanding a ransom for their safe return is not an act of war between 2 countries it is a criminal act carried out in the name of something else and should be treated as such. In my opinion.

ISIS, is everyone's problem because of what they stand for whether or not you are an American Christian or a Muslim, who has embraced western values at least to some extent.

You are missing my point. They are just criminals and not a country or anything like. They are criminals and should be treated as such. Their current crimes include kidnapping, extortion and crimes against humanity.

There was someone spouting off on the Jeremy Vine show today about banning British passport holders coming back into the country if they've been fighting elsewhere. One thought crossed my mind is "would he be saying that of white British mercenaries fighting abroad"? No, probably not.
