No, but the usual knee-jerk reaction always has unforeseen consequences. If you ban one group of British passport holders from re-entry for fighting abroad, you have to do so for all British passport holders fighting abroad.

No you don't just the ones that a a clear threat to anyone living in our country which these extremists obviously are

Regardless of where these people are from originally if they are now classed as British and are fighting against us by way of terrorist acts they should be charged with High Treason. I feel that as a tolerant country others seek to take advantage of our placid nature, but, the government should take action to remind these people that we are a Christian country and will always remain a Christian country and the only law that is to be followed in this country is a Christian law we should not be bowing down to the whims of others. If they don't like it they are free to leave and stay gone. They are also free to practice their religion within the bounds of our Christian laws. I really don't think that is unreasonable, as the saying goes 'when in Rome......'
