The world as ever is in turmoil.

Egypt basically started it with their own uprising which then spread to other Arabic countries in turn keeping European governments on their toes. Europe is now experiencing its own type of democratic unrest i.e Scotland, I would expect the pot to be kept boiling one this one as 1.6 million people are not going to go away, keeping this and governments to come also on their toes. It (the split) will happen, and they will want it to happen before the Oil does become diminished, so exciting times ahead with Nicola Sturgeon leading the way. If she had been at the forefront I believe the Scots would have bought into it totally.

Along with our government bending over backwards, expect the E.U to start doing similar as this has wetted the appetite of other nations in a similar position..................I see lots of goodies coming back to Europeans in a form of appeasement to stop them rocking the political gravy boat.

Well done the Scots as we will all benefit =D> =D> =D> =D> =D> =D>

The Tories won't give them a thing you mark my words, they'll only get something off them who they believe and believe you me they don't trust the Tories up there.

It is no longer about the Tories, other political parties will make hay out of this - THEY WILL HAVE TO HONOUR THEIR PLEDGES. Other parts of the U.K will be watching this very carefully 1. The English themselves (and quite rightfully so) 2.The Welsh 3.The Irish 4. The Scots - who will not take it laying down.

Be wary of Salmond, the guys a political deviant who care not a Jot about democracy, he only cares about himself and Independence and if cant have the latter through a democratic Vote he'll pursue it by some other manner irrespective of the fact that the majority in Scotland doesn't want it..

[edited by admin] the EU, I sense an ever growing groundswell of disillusionment and resentment as well as a lack of tolerance towards the EU elite from the good people of the UK and other Europe nations ..this is where a referendum really should be targeted.

The EU is run by bureaucrats just for them to feather their own nests

Correct, that's why I want out of it. I think England, Ireland, Scotland and Wales would be a much better place out of the EU.

I'll tell you what...maybe the unthinkable! The Eastern Bloc i.e the Soviet Union fell apart....who would have thought that would happen :-k Maybe we have a similar happening, is this the start of the E.U disintegrating? it may seem far fetched but is this the start of reform! who needs a referendum

I'd rather be safely on the outside looking in at It's disintegration than be on the inside it as it implodes.
