65 hours a week is too much????

You guys all part time then?

65 hours for £400/450 per week is not a good investment of time, particularly when half of the hours will be for you to earn an extra £100/150 per week

He'll fit right in

Too true a complete EEJIT ...where is this Westgate dump ? are they as all stoopid as this burke there #-o #-o #-o

From what i gather reading through your posts. It is not I who is the burke.

Think about it. If you can manage to for a moment. ;)

Cheers for the heads up.

I am quite partial to forums in other places. So after four or five posts I quickly noticed an aggressive trend.

I have no time for non assisting replies.

And an update. Nearly two weeks and DBS still shows as not received yet. Council have stated that they have sent it off.

I have a funny feeling that i will be waiting many months before i get in to take my first customer.

Phone your local Police HQ up and ask to speak to the DBS officer. Ask him to hurry your application along.

Yup.

Anything to keep them in the league so we can brag about positions at the end of the season.

Burke.

So all I wait for is the DBS to return my certificate.

At the bottom of my tracking online. There is a disclaimer that reads.

IMPORTANT NOTICE: Please wait for the Certificate before making a recruitment, employment or licensing decision regarding this applicant. The issuing of a Certificate by the DBS does not mean that the applicant is deemed suitable to take up the position applied for. A decision on suitability can only be made by the recruiting or licensing body based on the information revealed as a result of the Certificate and other factors.

Is this routine? Or have I got something that I may not know about?

Bit worried now.

Thanks for clearing that up mte.

I was seriously trying to think of if there has ever been a time when I have been on the wrong side of the law.

But unless I have and totally forgot. Then this dbs is coming back with just the 10 and a half year old DR-10 on.

My process is at stage 4.

The one that sometimes takes months.

Fingers and toes are crossed.

BUT.

I suppose it isn't really a bad thing having to wait until maybe the end of Feb until I can get my badge.
Since this is supposedly the worst time of year, if I have been told correctly.

It's not a good time of the year.

However the drivers will still be earning more than you.
