Err...and not a lick blame on the Hospital for discharging an Elderly lady suffering from a fractured pelvis and who was in so much pain she cried as she tried to walk. why the hell was she not kept in the Hospital?

Do you think the driver acted correctly then?

Did i say I did...? My remark has nothing to do with the actions of the driver, but let's be fair..what kind of NHS staff member would send an old lady home in that condition and that much pain and not even use Ambulance or NHS trained Passenger transport to do so.

Aye the fechin driver was a dill..but it should never have been the job of a hack or PH to take an old dear with a fractured pelvis home.

Absolutely agree - Too much buck passing & never ever do we see much support for drivers.......always reaching for the big stick and ready to blame.

Maybe the taxi was one from the company who has the contract for the hospital. Maybe she had received her treatment and wanted to go home. If she wasn't deemed fit to go home why didn't the son in law create a fuss at the hospital?

It would seem that the hospital absolved themselves of blame by seeing fit that the woman was wheelchaired out! So what happens at the other end.......no wheelchair! If they thought that she needed one going out then it was needed the other end.

Besides the driver.........others are to blame in my opinion.

The Story goes :

"The complainant said his mother-in-law was in “a great deal of pain” and had to be wheeled out to the taxi in a wheelchair."

..now does that not smack of someone that may need further medical examination rather as being sent home...besides, if she needed wheeled out of the Infirmary then it stands to reason that she would probably have needed wheeled into her home as well, That's not Taxi work but NHS work unless taxis around there normally carry spare wheelchairs. #-o

2 in 33 years??????

FFS hang him!!!!

I am in a good mood believe it or not.....but I am also in rant mode

How long are "Allegations" allowed to stay on a persons record? How long does it have to be before someone has to stop making "Allegations"........before it becomes defamous? because in my book......it is Put up-or Shut up. As much as the guy has been a plank, that kind of sniping should be stopped.

Another case where representation would have been beneficial ? Without reading the entire transcript it appears to me theres behavior of considerable concern here by all involveld !Hospital ......Driver ................son in law.........................COUNCILLORS

But in the final analysis the Driver is a mug for not being Unionised in my opinion, for sure he'd be better of now had he been repped #-o #-o

Patients discharged from hospital in pain fekk my old boots well i never how about that then ........................"THE NHS IS SAFE IN OUR HANDS" cu*t Cameron
