Are secretly recorded conversations on mobile phones at traffic accidents allowed to be used as evidence in any way?

I don't know about using recordings such as these as evidence according to the rules of court evidence but it's not illegal to record audio/video in a public place, regardless of whether or not you are aware, you are being recorded. There is no law stopping or restricting people recording audio/video in public place - FACT. (This much I looked up) So I would imagine, if this is what your are talking about any recording in a public place, it can be used in a court of law.

Hope this helps Trevor... :-|

They are evidence, and that evidence can be used.

It's up to the courts or whoever to decide what weight that evidence has, but it can be produced.

But give a copy to the other side as early as you can.
