Yes.

Look on Dragon Taxis website under the garage link, they've got rear loaders.

Sorry about the quote out of synch...working off of tablet.

Their cars/cabs are across the board.A lot will be personally owned plus a mix of their own.

NO!

All firms in Cardiff run off the council tarif except Premier which is more expensive.
The only thing Dragon charges more for is anything over 4 passengers.

From there own website...

Not all Cardiff Taxi companies charge the same. Dragon Taxis runs at the Cardiff County Council rate for saloon cars. Be aware other companies may be more expensive. Some companies are up to 10% more expensive.

Anybody who knows Cardiff will know that the hackneys have got a terrible reputation in the City. What with over charging and cherry picking fares.

Oh dear oh dear oh dear.

With no company to champion our cause what does anyone expect when there has been no real tariff raise in around 6/7 years, it goes on in Cardiff and practically every other reasonable size City.

And then we have P.H regularly line up outside the Hilton on a Fri/Sat night stealing Hack work....and then we get the pot calling the kettle black.

....and what do their six/seven seaters charge? my guess is pick your own price or a minimum of + 50%. The hackneys can only charge an extra £1 per person over 4 passengers....please do not give me the bleeding heart story, as we are not all the same.

I've no doubt at all that happens and I don't condone it. And I did say that Dragon charge more for 5/6 seaters, I think its an extra third. But for you to say Dragon charge more across the board than the black and whites is completely wrong.

I think that you will find Dragon are very misleading!

They claim that their saloon cars operate off of the LA tariff and on that I am sure that they do. However as you show in your post...they have a two tier system i.e charging a third extra for just a fifth passenger. The hackneys cannot charge a third/half or anything other than an extra £1 per passenger. The hackneys cannot charge more than the LA tariff above 4 passengers, it is quite clear that dragon do.

In a nutshell they have the LA tariff for saloon cars/4 seaters, and another for 5 plus that is not the LA tariff.
