If the council are off it's a bank holiday. Round here it's a bank holiday.

Don’t think I would drive for 0.17 of a penny for each 1/10 of a mile, I wouldn’t even do it for 0.23 of a penny at what I presume is rate 2!

This is not the only LA that don’t know how to present “Money” correctly.

For example, One pound fifty can be “£1.50” or “150p”. It can’t be “£1.50p”.

Seventy-five pence can be “£0.75” or “75p”, it can’t be “£0.75p”, “.75p” or “0.75p”

Strangely this LA get it right for the soiling charge at £50.00 – maybe they just ran out of space for the “p”.

Finally, they missed the word “or”. It should be: For each subsequent 176 yard (161 Metres) OR uncompleted part thereof.

we already give away too much and bank holiday premiums should be a sweetener for working when everyone else is either off or on treble time
