Interesting theory.

By the time they have remembered all the streets they will have forgotten that they went out to rape someone.

well I had a ton of people who tried and failed using uber tonight.

not enough cars.

We have everyone raving on about how it actually states about not tipping the driver once you have processed your booking.

Thats a loss in itself. I wont be moving to them in a hurry.

So it would seem

More likely though that it is more a test of character rather than topographical knowledge; 3 to 4 years out on a scooter in the persisting down rain, wind and snow, 'Appearances' in a suit and tie, polished shoes, clean shaven, well groomed, polite, The pressure of reciting routes "Yes sir, No sir, I don't know sir" hard revision and usually having to hold down some sort of job to pay the bills.

Your sexual predator hasn't the character, he is too weak minded, hence he can't help himself when he is mini-cabbing and an opportunity presents itself.

Road works, road closures, new one way streets, accidents where you need to find an alternative route, all show up on a sat nav? Must get one then!

Waze is quite good at detecting all those, since incidents and road changes are updated using information from other Waze users who can report them.

It's actually quite quick and will usually reroute you before you hit the incident.
